We morn the tragic and sudden loss of  a little princess, Aaniston Somebodys Spelling Mistake
"Ginger" died suddenly April 14th after she had been treated for an infected paw for five days. 
She had been given rimadyl and antibhiotics.
She was loved deeply and dearly by her owners Anna and Andreas Björklund.
We only part to meet again.

 had a wonderful day. From juniorclass Aaniston Incoming File Transfer was 2nd with Cc'quality 
and his litterbrother Aaniston I'm A Fish was 4th with Cc'quality out of 19 entries. 
Höglias Den Siste Riddaren acchieved excellent from open class
 and I showed his fantastic daughter Höglias Trollmåne to her win in open class, 
winning best bitch her first CC and she ended up as BEST IN SHOW!! 
What a day all her wonderful wins as a puppy and this day was when I have handled her. 
She is a stunning girl and she always shows herself absolutely from her best side with me.

One bitch puppy was born with an acute caesarean section March 11th 
sired by Multi CH Hjortronblommas Gin Martin x Aaniston A Parade of Shoes. 

The sad news is that her father Multi Ch Hjortronblommas Gin Martin had to be put to sleep March 6th 
after a heavy and hasty brain hemorrhage, 
and we are so sad for his owner and breeder Anna Lisa Pekkari, Hjortronblomma Kennels.
He was her most beloved boy and I know how devastated she is.

Aaniston An Outstanding Filly and her lovely movement.

Yesterday evening when I went for a walk with some of our whippets, 
I recieved the sad news that "Tinka" was dead.
I had no idea what had happened but my inside told me that the other whippets, 
at her kennel had done something to her.
Unfortunately I was right "Tinka" died after an attack made by the other whippet bitches at their home
and she bled to death. There are so many things I regret in my life and selling this gorgeous
 whippet is something I will regret for the rest of my life. 
She came to stay with me for over 10 months 
and I gave her the best care and handled her to all her titles and wins.
When I was returning her in Vaasa she didn't even want to come to her owners
 even if they tried with candy and called for her.
She went in the back of the crate behind her litter brother Coffeespoons as if she wanted to hide. 
I was quite amazed and I felt very bad for her owners.  
I tried to buy her back for a very high prize but they didn't want to sell her 
since they never had owned a champion. 
I cried when they walked away with her and my whole inside was in pain.

The whippet world have lost a prinsess 
and I have lost my most beautiful breeding and a girl that I adored. 
She was a litter sister to my most beloved Aaniston Alarch The Sea Lion 
and CH Aaniston Afternoons & Coffeespoons.
She was sired  by Swedish Champion Starry's Bennerman 
and out of my dearest bitch Aaniston Pyjamas In The Daytime.
The only peace I have now is that she is safe and with her beloved brother.

CH Aaniston Afternoons & Coffeespoons son Höglias Trollbunden is currently in the lead for best male debutant 2010 
and in the top ten show winning males in Sweden – all in his first show season! 
Every time he has been shown he has won his class.
He won the coveted Sighthound club CC and BOB + group-4 under specialist judge Bitte Ahrens (Sobers) in Råneå this summer.

He has sired a very promising litter at Zelig Whippets and some of these stunning boys are for sale!

and we travelled to Stockholm to have a look at them.

he was so happy and relaxed and I think he had a lovely weekend. He is such a special whippet to me and

Today it's been 2 years ago since my dearest dog "Tippen Tut" Aaniston Alarch The Sea Lion,
 had to be put to sleep only 4.5 years old. Not a day goes by when I'm not thinking about him. 
He was the love of my life and it is so empty and devastating without him. 
He meant everything to me and I found a masterpiece in him..

April 7th

With a heavy heart  I recieved the sad news from Finland on Monday that 
"Mette" Aaniston Filly At The Bigs had to be put to sleep earlier that day only 4 years old. 
She was such a special puppy to me and she was here last year for a visit. 
"Mette" was sired by CH Adagio My Culture x Aaniston Pamplemousse. 
It started as diarrhea and then she got a very bad intestinal infection 
and on Monday she had been vomiting blood. 
Her whole abdoman was full of blood and there were holes in her gallbladder, 
so there was nothing else to do than to let her go. 
It breaks my heart and I am so sorry for her owners who loved her so deeply and dearly.
 I am out of words.. I will always remember this special girl ♥

January 11th

We have had a very hard and sad weekend. S Ch Aaniston Believe In Me Mr Jones had to have an acute caesarean section
on friday night four out of the five puppies were dead and the only living puppy was put to sleep on Saturday evening
 since she didn't pick up as we had hoped. 
We are very sad but also so greatful that our beloved dearest Stella made it through surgery,
 that is the most important thing for us. 
Now she will be extra pampered and spoil during her recouvery. 
Thank you all so much for your caring messages. I appreciate it so much.

Ch Aaniston Afternoons & Coffeespoons "Solo" won championclass with Cc quality/Exc with this critique: 
well balanced champion male, good size, very good proportions & angulated, Excellent movement, 
Good expr & bite, good chest, good temp. Our beautiful "Tähti" Jagodas Grosse Bise was 2nd in CC quality/Exc,
 but she didn't have anything right on her body according to the finnish judge Markku Kipinä 
and Ch Aaniston Believe In Me Mr Jones "Stella" she was 2nd in championclass, with Cc quality/exc. 
Höglias Trollbunden "Killian" was BOS puppy with an excellent critique,
 he was messured and he was almost 48 cm not bad for an 9 month old boy.

Today it's 2 years ago I did that horrible trip to Strömsholms Animal Hospital 
with my dear "Ramis" Twyborn Longleat
We thought he needed surgery for a slipped disc after a running accident a month earlier, but the news were fatal, 
he had a huge blood cloth in his aorta. He was such a "mommys" boy and I miss him every day.

Ch Aaniston Afternoons & Coffeespoons puppies did very well on saturdays sighthoundspecial.
Höglias Bakom Fasaden won best male puppy with prize of honour, Höglias Trollbunden was 2nd with prize of honour, 
Höglias Längtan was 3rd with prize of honour and Höglias Lugnet Före Stormen was 4th also with prize of honour. Their sister Höglias Trollmåne won in the female class with prize of honour and was BOB and BEST IN SHOW PUPPY!!
 
Aaniston You Had Me At Hello was placed 4th in juniorclass with prize of honour judge Per Lundström, Swe and 
Jagodas Grosse Bise was 4th in open class (13) with CC quality/Exc.

On sunday Aaniston You Had Me At Hello was placed 4th in juniorclass and Jagodas Grosse Bise won open class (10) 
and was later 2nd best bitch winning the res.cacib. Judged by Karin Hedberg, Swe.

From the German Whippet show we got some very happy news, 
Aaniston Few And Far Betweens gorgeous daughter Sobers Ingrid won BOB and BEST IN SHOW

Yesterday we came back from Vilsta and the Swedish Whippetclub Specialty show.

We travelled with 4 whippets, Ch Aaniston Afternoons & Coffeespoons "Solo", he was not placed in the championclass (11)
his son Höglias Trollbunden "Killian" was not placed in the puppy class but got an excellent critique.
Aaniston You Had Me At Hello was entered for the third time in juniorclass and she was placed as 5th with Exc, and
our "Tinka daughter" Jagodas Grosse Bise was placed 4th in open class (21) with Exc.
I also showed "Solo" daughter Höglias Trollmåne to a lovely 2nd place with prize of honour 
his other daughter Höglias En Glimt Av Ömhet was one of the 6 who was picked and 
she also got prize of honour but was not placed (13).

Finaly back from Visby, Gotland, a terrible show weekend weather wise.
On saturday I only entered one of our whippets Jagodas Grosse Bise got a 2nd prize since she was limping said the judge John J Walsh, 
7 other whippets were limping too :) so we were quite surprised all of us that travelled so far with injured whippets ;)

On sunday it was a terrible cold day with very windy weather, Ch Aaniston Afternoons & Coffeespoons got the weather he hated the most he won championclass (2) with cc'quality/exc, Aaniston Believe In Me Mr Jones was 2nd in open class (13 entries) with cc'quality/exc, Jagodas Grosse Bise was 3rd in open class with cc'quality/exc. Aaniston Pyjamas In The Daytime (only entered one day) won veteranclass (1) with cc'quality/exc.

Yesterdays show in pouring rain, Aaniston Your Fly Is Open Geller was 2nd in juniorclass with cc'quality/exc (6) Ch Aaniston Afternoons & Coffeespoons was 3rd in championclass with cc'quality/exc but never competed in the best male class. Some good news from Denmark. At Randbodal Show weekend, 
DK Ch Aaniston So I'm Hot And Your'e Not was 2nd best bitch both days and also winning a club CC.
For the first time in the ring my very special surprise girl Aaniston Even With My Eyes Closed "Caviar" "Cavi", 
she was born September 26th 2007 by Twyborn Longleat x Ch Airescot Bonnie Maid.
Day 1 "Cavi" was 2nd out of 7 bitches in middleclass with CC'quality/Exc. 
Day 2 she was 3rd out of 7 again with CC'quality/exc. 
Great job with them both Lisbet and Claus. "Cavi" is as many of you know very special to me.

Some great results from the Lure Coursing competition in Borlänge today. 
Among 66 whippets competing whippets..
Aaniston Lawn Tennis In Venice (sired by Ch Aaniston Afternoons & Coffeespoons x Aaniston Pagan-In-Hand) 
was on 3rd place and won his 2nd CC. Big congratulations to his owner Susanne Lindström. Way to go!
Aaniston Baby Jonesy Sit And Stay was among the top five in her first race but since she fell and didn't, 
look alright after the incident, the owners Anna and Andreas Björklund decided not to let her run in the 2nd heat. 
A very wise decision and I would have done the same.

Today it's 1 year ago since I had to let my absolutely most beloved and dearest whippet Tippen go.
A year filled with deep sorrow, emptiness and so many tears every day, it feels like an ocean.
The true joy is gone and will not come back as before.
